Shotgun Curly is a New York City–born singer-songwriter and Bradley Beach resident whose music draws from rock, blues, Americana, and pop. After beginning her professional career on Broadway in the original production of Annie, she moved to California, where she picked up the guitar, found her voice as a songwriter, and recorded her debut album, Only the Ocean. Returning to New York, late-night jams at 27 St. Marks Place gave birth to Shotgun Curly—a musical adventure built around original songs, inspired covers, and a rotating cast of collaborators. Now a working musician on the Jersey Shore, Curly’s live shows blend original music with songs by Etta James, Prince, Stevie Nicks, Linda Ronstadt, The Rolling Stones, and P!nk. Her performances are soulful, energetic, and story-driven, moving easily from bluesy grit to heartfelt ballads and rock-and-roll swagger. With her debut album and a growing catalog of singles already released, Curly is in the midst of her most ambitious year yet: releasing a new original song every three weeks throughout 2026, culminating in 21 new songs, including the EP 8118 and the full-length album Yes, You Can Touch It.
