MJ Hancock

Since moving to the Asbury Park area 10 years ago, MJ Hancock has become a staple of the local music scene, performing with his post-punk group Sacred Lawns, the psyche-rock outfit Tide Bends, beach blues staple Stringbean & The Boardwalk Social Club, and a host of other acts. Solo, MJ pulls from a back catalogue of originals he’s penned for himself, his various groups, and other pop artists he’s written for.
