Mar Stellium

Mar Stellium is an indie shoegaze band led by Asbury Park musician Mar Frigoletto. Described as the “next wave” of the genre, Mar Stellium combines both crunchy and lush soundscapes with intimate lyrics and profound vocals.

In late 2025, Mar Stellium released their debut single Butterflies, a dreamy lament of the feelings that come with anxiety. They released their second single, Don’t Miss Being There, in August, which shows the band’s other side: heavy, abrasive, and dynamic. Mar Stellium is currently writing and recording their first full-length effort.
