Brian Erickson

Brian Erickson is an award-winning vocalist who has made some of the New Jersey music scene's most acclaimed records of the past decade with both his former band The Paper Jets (2008-2018) and his current outfit The Extensions. But the Covid pandemic shut down full-band work for the entire year, prompting Erickson, ever the resourceful creative, to unexpectedly launch a solo career.
The resultant studio effort 'Little Secrets' garnered near-universal praise. You Don't Know Jersey called it "a genuine artistic triumph," and for the first time, Erickson found himself at the top of his class, having proved his ability not just as a writer, but a producer, arranger, and engineer. The sense of whimsical immersion created by 'Little Secrets' was staggering. And people finally began to take notice.

Immediately following that album's release, the Star Ledger named Erickson one of New Jersey's Artist's to Watch. AP Vibes called him "the embodiment of a successful DIY musician" while Jamsphere praised the album as "a stunning blend of thoughtfulness and skill." To cap the year off, Norway's Blezt Magazine hailed 'Little Secrets' as one of its top albums of 2020.

With all that momentum behind him, and the world opening up again, Erickson looks to the future at the absolute top of his game, ready to take on whatever comes next!
