Born and raised in the Greater New York City Area, Kerr Rudge grew up in a home filled with the music of artists like Sam Cooke, The Beatles, and Depeche Mode His parents' love of a diverse range of pop music set the stage for Kerr's own songs, whose effortless melodies, soulful vocals and tight construction draw from the well of his earliest influences.
Kerr started writing songs at 13 and by the age of 14 was spending summers in New York City learning the craft of songwriting at the School of Creative and Perforning Arts. He has recorded songs at the legendary Dubway Studio and in the summer of 2018 debuted his original songs at the Rockwood Music Hall in New York City.
Kerr is currently studying Music Industry at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.
Kerr is a prolific songwriter who accompanies himself on both the guitar and piano. His pop songs continue to evolve and have been shaped by his love of artists such as Dawes, Jason Isbell and Chris Stapleton.
