Jamie LaVerdiere made his Broadway debut starring opposite Nathan Lane in THE PRODUCERS when Matthew Broderick called in sick before the second preview at the St James Theater. He has since been in two other original Broadway productions: THE PIRATE QUEEN (Hilton Theater) and MOTOWN (Lunt Fontanne Theater). Jamie has toured the US with URINETOWN (1st National) and MOTOWN (1st National) and danced his way across Europe in A CHORUS LINE (Wolgang Bocksch). OTHER NYC credits include GRAND HOTEL (Encores!), I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT… (Westside Theater), CLOSER THAN EVER (York Theater), ROTHSCHILD AND SONS (York), THIS SIDE OF PARADISE (St Clements Theater), and most recently DOGMAN, THE MUSICAL (Lucille Lortel). Favorite regional roles are Sancho in MAN OF LA MANCH (Cleveland Playhouse), Puck in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (White River Theatre Fest) and John Adams in 1776 (CT Repertory Theater) for which he won the CT Critics Circle award for Outstanding Actor in a Musical. Jamie lives in New Jersey with his wife, daughter, and puppy.
