Right before I take the stage, I always get butterflies. Yet, as I walk towards the microphone to face the audience before me, they fade away. I take a deep breath, and realize that it is here, on the stage that I belong.

Growing up, I was inspired to sing while attending an apostolic church. I even formed a gospel band with my 6 brothers and sisters. Over time, I found myself in front of audiences at B.B King's in NYC and the American Hotel in Freehold, NJ. Yet, I still had a hunger to create a career of my own that would depend on my originality and artistry. So I began writing songs and formed the Ally Mac Project, to begin recording my debut album, First Love. The first single off the album, "First Love" was released on SoundCloud in October 2015. Released in May of 2016, the album is a raw and original expression of the beautiful, crazy and sometimes dark side of a first love.
